1.7.1987 - 31.1.92 for Metro Austria (a large european cash and carry group) in Voesendorf/Austria

I started as an operator on an IBM mainframe for about one and a half years. After that I changed into system programming department where I was responsible for programming POS-terminals as well as configuring the VM/VSE mainframe and its components. At the end of the 80ies I made first contact with networking (dialup networking as well as token ring networks and connecting these to the mainframe).

2.3.92 - 28.2.98 for Oesterreichische Postparkasse (Austrian Postal Savings bank) in Vienna/Austria

There I worked as a system programmer on an IBM mainframe under MVS beeing responsible for configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting the mainframe network (VTAM, NCP, X.25, SDLC, and of course Token Ring). In 1993 I was involved in the evaluation of routers for the bank. Afterward I was responsible for the planning, configuration and security of the Cisco router network and the internet connection.

2.3.98 - 30.4.02 for PRO-IN Professional Information Networks in Vienna/Austria

At PRO/IN I was teaching Cisco certified courses as well as PRO/IN courses and individual workshops all over europe. The courses contain amongst other things basic network technologies, IP routing protocols, IPX, switching, ATM and of course SNA. In august 2001 a passed my CCIE (cisco certified internetwork expert) exam in Brussels/Belgium.
